JEFF MARONILLA-SEVA QUINTANO
TATTOOS & CULTURAL DOCUMENTATION
Bicol Albay & Manila, Philippines
ABOUT
Jeff is a Filipino tattoo artist and cultural advocate exploring Baybayin, the ancient Philippine script, Filipino heritage, and contemporary tattooing. Known for his distinct illustrative style, he became one of the sought-after artists for Baybayin tattoos during his years in the United States, helping push the boundaries of the script through tattooing. His work has been showcased at the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, FANHS Museum, National Museum of the Philippines–Bicol, and Sentro Filipino Cultural Center, leading to various exhibitions, media features, and interviews.
In 2025, he and his wife returned to the Philippines to deepen their cultural research through lived experience, later completing a personal Philippine Loop project, driving across the country to document cultures, traditions, and stories firsthand.
Now based in Bicol Albay, with regular visits to Manila, he focuses on original flash designs, large-scale custom tattoos, and cultural projects for the Filipino tattoo and creative communities.
